ELEPHANT (vulnerable)
There are less than 400,000 African elephants left in the wild and more than 100 are killed each day.
Source of inspiration:
-Bag: Ears. They help them to cool down and to communicate.
-Print: Inspired by the elephant’s favorite food (Marula tree and baobab).
Major threats: Poaching for ivory trade, habitat loss and conflict with communities.
How can we help: Never buy ivory products, don’t support cruel practices involving elephants such as elephant riding, volunteer/donate to the different conservation projects that support them.
